Draft — version 2026-10. Plain-English summary on the Your data page.

Who we are

FRSA Innovation Lab is operated by the First Responder Soccer Academy (FRSA). You can reach us at FRSAInnovationLab@gmail.com.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and sign-in credentials.

Profile information: whether you are a first responder or family member, your agency type and your state or territory.

Content you choose to share: observations, problems, ideas, feedback and comments.

Consent records: what you have agreed to, when, and any withdrawals.

For brand partners: organisation details such as name, ABN, website and the people authorised to act for the organisation.

Why we collect it

To run the platform: sign-in, your profile, and the community features you use.

To understand needs across the first responder community and match them with businesses and researchers who can help.

To contact you about things you follow or take part in, where you have agreed.

Who can see your information

You can see everything we hold about you in your account.

FRSA staff can see member information in order to moderate, verify and run research. Every administrative action is recorded in an audit log.

Brands never receive personal information. They see de-identified summaries written by FRSA, and only after their organisation is verified.

Nothing you share privately is made public. Public ideas appear only after FRSA approval, anonymously unless you chose to use your display name.

How we protect it

Access is role-based and enforced by the database on every request (row-level security on every table).

Files are held in private storage and served only through time-limited signed links.

Administrative actions — moderation, verification, stage changes, role changes — are recorded with who did them and when.

Your choices

You can change or withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy.

You can request deletion of your account from the same screen; the FRSA team actions it and confirms.

You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us.

Australian Privacy Principles

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We collect only what we need, use it only for the purposes described here, and never sell personal information.

Changes to this policy

This is policy version 2026-10. If we change it, we will note the new version here and, where the change is significant, let you know by email or in the app.
